VHF/UHF Amateur Radio Access

The SCCo ARES/RACES packet BBS systems are accessible over the air on VHF and UHF amateur radio frequencies, using the AX.25 (packet) protocol. AX.25 is based on the Internet X.25 protocol, using amateur radio call signs for addresses. It is efficient for low bandwidth, lossy environments, such as VHF/UHF radio.
