Emergency Management Classes

Our served agencies expect SCCo ARES/RACES operators to be familiar with and able to operate within standard emergency management protocols. The following classes introduce the key frameworks: the Incident Command System (ICS), Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS), and National Incident Management System (NIMS).

The first four are required for any SCCo ARES/RACES credential:
