County EOC Radio Room Orientation
Course Description
This class will prepare operators for working in the radio room of the county Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
- Intended Audience
- Hams who want to be eligible for assignments in the county EOC radio room.
- Prerequisites
- Net Control Type III or Packet Operator Type III Credential
- Mutual Aid Communicator Endorsement

Registered as a County DSW
These requirements will not be waived unless you are only missing something that is pending to complete the requirements, i.e., missing a class for a Credential or a LiveScan for the MAC Endorsement. The Credential Program Manager will need to approve this.

- In person, 3.5 hours

There are no sessions of this class currently scheduled.
Course Materials and Pre-Work
Course slides will be made available to participants before the class. These slides are not for public distribution and should not be shared outside of those working on, or holding, the EOC Radio Room Credential.
There will be a homework assignment to be completed before class. Those signed up will be provided details via email closer to the class date.
