County EOC RACES Unit Leader Orientation

Course Description

This class will prepare operators to perform the role of RACES Unit Leader in the county EOC.

Intended Audience

Hams in leadership positions who may need to hold the RACES Unit Leader role

Prerequisites

• Net Control Type II credential
• Packet Operator Type II credential
• County EOC Radio Room Operator endorsement (ERO)
• County EOC SHARES Radio Operator endorsement (SRO)

  These requirements will not be waived unless you are only missing something that is pending to complete the requirements. I.E. missing a class for a Credential. The Credential Program Manager will need to approve any such wavier.

Format

In person, 3 hours

Students should bring

• Copy of course materials (see below)
• Pen/pencil and pad of paper
