Amateur radio operators are needed to assist with radio communications at the Mt. Hamilton Classic bike race. Operators are needed for Net Control and various Checkpoints along the race route.
Event objectives include:
- Operational training for San Jose RACES radio operators

Provide radio support for Mt. Hamilton Classic Road Race
- Radio communications for race participation group starts, group leader progess, finish times and final sweep vehicle.
- APRS messaging of racing group start times to Finish line
- Checkpoint radio communications for emergency notification
