FEMA 800: National Response Framework, An Introduction |
|||
Date: 05/25/22 | Start: 6:30 PM | End: 10:00 PM | Location: 255 Barack Obama Bvd, San Jose |
Credential Credit (What's this?): No |
This class is the equivalent of taking the FEMA IS-800 (National Response Framework Intro) class online, except it will be taught live and in-person by a CSTI outreach instructor for the ICS and EOC suite. The instructional portion of the class will end at 21:30.
To become certified, you have two testing options:
- Frannie can administer the test and issue the certificate from CSTI. You will be given 30 minutes (21:30-22:00) to complete the test in the classroom. CSTI certificates cost $15.00 each, plus tax.
- Take the test at the FEMA website online after the training. After the class ends at 21:30, you can decide when to take the test on your own time. The FEMA certificates are free and dowloadable from their website.
The class will be held at the:
San Jose Fire Department Training Center, Classroom #2
255 Barack Obama Blvd, San Jose, CA 95110
(NOTE: Due to a recent street name change, some maps may identify the street name by its former name "S. Montgomery St".)
Classroom #2 is in the red brick building just to the right after you drive through the front gate. If there is no parking available in front (near the red brick building), you can park in the back near the back fence.
Note: 90% or better class time attendance required for credit.
Instructor: Frannie Edwards, KC6THM
