As the State of California gets ready for another fire season, the City of Cupertino is also thinking through the details of evacuations if the city was ever threatened.
Cupertino Citizens Corps is planning a communications exercise on Saturday 21-May in the western part of Cupertino (Monta Vista ARK Zone 1 area). This is a field deployment where we will practice message passing of local situations and neighborhood readiness in support of a wildfire evacuation. No actual community notification or evacuation is planned.
