This year, San Jose RACES will be participating in the 2022 ARRL Field Day as a 2A (club portable) station in Hogue Park (https://goo.gl/maps/K7toCrD4PW73Q6SL8)
We will be participating along with amateur radio operators in both US and Canada to practice our emergecy response capabilities, and to invite the public to see one piece of the amateur radio experience.
San Jose RACES will be operating four stations: HF, HF Digital, GOTA, and VHF, along with an information booth for the public.
We will need captains for each of the four stations to help plan and supervise the setup/operation/teardown of each station. Others will be needed to help setup/teardown the station along with operating it throughout the field day period.
Timeline is as follows
1700 June 24 to 1100 June 25 - Friday/Saturday Setup
1100 June 25 to 1100 June 26 - Saturday/Sunday Field Day Operation
1100 June 26 to 1300 June 26 - Sunday Teardown
