The Cupertino July 4 fireworks show is back, and we need radio operators to assist with monitoring activity at three viewing venues and several street closures, and to provide situation status to the command post. This is a fairly low-key event, ideal for both experienced and first-time volunteers.
Operators from other cities are welcome. We will not have a county activation number; instead, all such operators will be sworn in at the event and work as a Cupertino DSWs for the day.
This will be a credential-qualifying event. Also, we are offering a limited number of F3 and N3 credential evaluations. If you are interested in an evaluation, please email halchin@mac.com.
