This course covers basic direction finding techniques. This information is useful for both "fox hunts" (or "T" hunts for hidden Transmitter hunts) and also to potentially locate spurious signals such as a stuck transmitter.

The GPS coordinates for the "Front Door" of Sunnyvale Dept. of Public Safety HQ are: N 37 22.2412 W 122 2.4012 The physical street address is: 700 All America Way Cross Street is Olive Ave. Thomas Brothers Map 832-D1 Class attendees will be admitted by showing their agency issued ID, to the Records staff.
Monitor AA6BT, 146.115 MHz ,+ offset, PL of 100.0 Hz, the morning of the class for any changes relative to the class, location, etc.
Note: 90% or better class time attendance required for credit.
