Santa Clara County and City Quarterly Drill  County Radio Room Staffing ONLY.

This sign-up page is for those who wish to operate in the county radio room or in a county field position. 

Purpose:  The purpose of this drill is to allow the Cities within Santa Clara County to exercise their local communications resources at the City level, and also participate on a County-Wide level exercise working the communications between the City Emergency Operations Centers and the SCCo Emergency Operations Center RACES Radio Room.

Radio Room Positions:  Net Control and Packet Operator positions are available.  If you haven't worked the county radio room, you're missing out.  It's sometimes frantic but always fun.  You can choose to be evaluated for a MAC qualification or not.  It's up to you.  Evaluations will be available for N1, N2, P1 and P2.

Field Positions:  We are adding field positions for MACs who wish to be evaluated as field communicators, either F1 or F2.  The field activity will take place outside, across the street from the county EOC.

The following positions are available for this event. You can state your preference when you sign up for the event. The event coordinator will attempt to accommodate your request. Based on the event and its requirements, the event coordinator may move hams to positions other than those requested.
