THIS IS AN ARES PUBLIC SERVICE EVENT
They start closing the streets at 0900 hrs so come early to get a parking place.
The ARES group will have a meeting at 1000 hrs for last minute instructions and assignments at the net control station at the Bank of America parking lot on North Santa Cruz Ave. and Almandera Ave.
Parade starts at 1100 hours.
Parade ends about 1300 hours.
What to bring: Handy Talkie (5 watts) and extra battery, ARES vest, Headset or speaker mic (recommended as the noise level from the bands is high), dress in layers, this is a rain or shine event.
Operating frequency: Primary - 147.480 MHz simplex, Alternate 147.555 MHz simplex. Have your radios set to these frequencies.
