Sunnyvale SARES/SNAP Drill Saturday 22 Oct, 1 to 4 PM
Sunnyvale is strongly encouraging sign-ups from Sunnyvale SARES ONLY
This will be the first combined drill of the Sunnyvale SARES and SNAP organizations. SARES will set up emergency communication posts (two members per post) at key ARK-shelter locations. The SARES team will relay SNAP neighborhood survey reports via 213 message forms to the SARES Radio Room- for transfer to the City Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
The drill will begin at 13:00 hours with a full activation practice- starting with calls to the City Resource Net with simulated Mike-Mike reports by city quadrant and receiving subsequent activation assignment to one of the 440 tactical nets for further specific assignment details.
To assure adequate support SNAP participants at the key emergency communication posts, we are asking you to sign up ahead of time for commitment to drill participation. Further details will be distributed to those who sign up.
