The 56h annual Los Gatos Children’s Holiday Parade will be held on Saturday 1st of December. The parade starts at 11:00 AM.
Again this year the Los Gatos Lions Club has asked the Los Gatos ARES group to assist in the parade.
This is a low key low stress way to help out our community and put a smile on all of us “kids”.
We would like to field a team of at least 12 ARES Ham operators for this event. We will need a couple of “shadows”, a couple of “roamers”, 6 stationary operators and 3 to 4 relief operators.
You will need a “hand held radio (5 w output). A better antenna than the “rubber ducky”, and a “speaker-mike” is nice.
The streets are closed at 9:00 AM so be there early. The Net Control station will be in front of the Bank of America bank on North Santa Cruz Ave.
