We have been requested to provide communications assistance for the annual County wide CERT exercise that will take place at Moffett Field, Ca 94035
We have bee asked to provide shadows for about 10 people and to provide 5 Net Control Operators who will be talking directly to the CERT members via FRS radios. The Goal to have our trained NCO s be able to show the CERT people proper radio techniques when making their reports by radio. (FRS radios will be provided)
Those who attend the NCO class that morning can come practice for the afternoon shift as long as you are on site before 1300. it is about a 10 drive from Sunnyvale DPS to Moffett Field
We will have two shifts available one from 0800- 13:00 and the second from 1230 up to 1700 if needed. If you want or are able to work all day please sign up for the AM shift and send an email to: sccdec@gmail.com
Resource NCO will be divided into 3 shifts and can be done from home as long as you have a good signal into one of the linked repeaters. Times are approximate and are subject to change. This is a smaller event so there will be less people to track.
