Event Detail and Sign Up

Scenario: The Alternate EOC Exercise focuses on continuity of operations.  That is, can we get people to the alternate location, bring up the equipment that is not normally used, and begin to operate?  As such, we anticipate a smaller crew at the alternate EOC -- perhaps 2-4 people maximum.

Plan: The current plan is to test the new operating position for the RACES radio room at the alternate EOC.  Depending on how much is installed, we'll set up the equipment, check out the antennas, etc. and pass some minimum traffic (as much as cities may wish to send).   More info will be added as we get closer to the event and learn about how much of the operating position will be available to use.

Schedule:

• 08:00 - Check-in
• 08:30 - Briefing
• 09:00 - Exercise activity begins
• 11:30 - Exercise activity ends; Debriefing
• 12:00 - Exercise ends
• 13:00 - EMACS briefing
• 15:30 - Completed

The following positions are available for this event. You can state your preference when you sign up for the event. The event coordinator will attempt to accommodate your request. Based on the event and its requirements, the event coordinator may move hams to positions other than those requested.
