This is a city-wide drill that will involve BAT Leaders, CERT member and hams. Two BATs will hold drills and hams are needed to simulate an EIRS site and use packet radio to send damage assessment summary information to the City's EOC.
Los Altos DSW is required. Hams signing up should have a LAARES packet station, or their own packet equipment. The standard Preliminary Safety Assessment form must also be installed.
The following positions are available for this event. You can state your preference when you sign up for the event. The event coordinator will attempt to accommodate your request. Based on the event and its requirements, the event coordinator may move hams to positions other than those requested.
