Santa Clara County DSW Volunteer Swear-In
This is an opportunity for ARES/RACES members to be sworn in as a Santa Clara County DSW Volunteer prior to the annual exercise, which will reduce your time in Staging at the exercise by about 30 minutes.
*** Note: You must sign up in advance to attend ***
Location:
- County EOC, 4th floor, 55 W Younger Ave., San Jose
Time:
- 11:30 Arrive (don't be late!)
- 12:30 Done
What to Bring:
- A pen (blue or black ink)
- Identification (driver's license, etc.)

Completed DSW Volunteer Registration for SCCo RACES form
- Be sure to follow the instructions provided
Parking:
- 2 hour parking is available next to the Sheriff's office. You should be there for no more than 1 hour.
- If that lot is full, we can provide a temporary parking permit to park in the lot across the street.
To reach the EOC:
- Enter the front of the Sheriff's office building and go to the Operations window on the left
- Tell the duty officer that you are there for DSW swear-in in the EOC
- They will issue a temporary badge and buzz you through the door
- Take the elevator up to the 4th floor
- Exit the elevator to the left and enter the EOC
Sign-up Deadline:
- You must sign up by 11:00 on Monday, 9/23 so we can get the names to the Sheriff's office.
